So in this thread, we talk about all the different -core genres that are out there, from Hardcore to Metalcore to Deathcore etc. etc. Post bands/songs you like, shows you've been to or are going to, or anything else related to the music genres.

Personally, I love a lot of Hardcore bands that are currently out there. I'm planning on seeing this band next month:

I think that technically, this counts as Metalcore. For more standard Hardcore, I really like Rotting Out a lot. They put on an amazing live show.

I'm not sure if the electronic genre hardcore counts, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to see

I really want to hear more of Chwhynny's work. I Am is absolutely fantastic.

Fuck You! is insane. 1:14 and 3:53 are the most intense moments in it.

I can't go without mentioning Fracus & Darwin, haha. Falling Out of Love is one of my favorite songs on Balancing Act, their first album. Hardcore Underground released a free DJ Friendly version of it on their Soundcloud. I really recommend you check it out

Normally, I'd type up something about how there are more types of lyrics in hardcore than just that but considering that you were probably the only person that actually read the original post, I think I'll just call this a good start.

I'm not a Touhou fan but the Japanese bands that formed just to make Touhou remixes are fucking great
Not sure, but I guess they're probably something-core

Foreground Eclipse are pretty good.

And one of the producers/singers of Draw The Emotional is also one of BABYMETAL's producers, his name being Yuyoyuppe (or DJ'TEKINA when he's doing dance music). He had a pretty big input in producing Megitsune, I believe. He sings in this one.

Electronicore (also known as synthcore, crabcore, or simply electronic hardcore) describes a stylistic fusion of post-hardcore and metalcore with electronic music, specifically electronica. Notable artists of this genre have originated from England, the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong and Japan.

Excuse u.

Also with all these subgenres and stuff it's hard to properly classify a lot of stuff due to the fuzzy edges of subgenres.

Also, this is a "Whatever-core Thread," as indicated by the title. So I guess 'Nightcore' also applies. I'm not a fan of it, but it is a something-core and is therefore relevant.

Just sayeen.

Anyway, moar memecore. Here's some Enter Shikari.

Mathcore

If you like Dillinger, or mathcore in general, I'd suggest checking out PsyOpus
Duct Tape Smile
Death, I
They have a "noisier" sound, to say it like that. But their technical abilities are amazing, probably one of my favourite bands in this subgenre.

Deathcore:

Born of Osiris linked to these guys on their facebook page a while ago, I've been hooked on SoE since.
