Uploading relevant images...that you made?

Okay, so I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere in the forums, so I figured it was worth asking.

There's this Smash Bros.-related image, specifically one related to DLC talk. It seems like it'd fit amongst the other Smash-themed submissions I've seen over the past weeks, and on its own, wouldn't break any rules.

Thing is…I made it a while back. It was a side project of mine, an alternate color set for a potential character. Said character is a bit of a longshot, but isn't a troll pick or something that'd get on anyone's nerves, and it's 100% work-safe.

What I want to know is if submitting something you made yourself (but is still relevant to an entry) is allowed, or also if it's looked down on.

A lot of people submit OC made by themselves on galleries, so I don't see the problem with it.

KYM documents internet culture and we happen to be a part of that, so anything made by our users that's relevant to an entry can and should be uploaded to that entry's gallery. In fact, the general consensus is that even images referencing KYM in some way can be uploaded, as long as it's not meta (i.e. not some kind of injoke or something only KYMers would understand).
