I would like two things to go into effect for uploading images to KYM:

1: How the images appear onto the Database:

Before the comments got updated, when you posted on someone's wall, the entire page refreshed, and showed you to the comment on the wall. Then, after the update, the comment smoothly lights up and gets inset into it's place within two seconds. I would like the same system for uploading images. Right now, the "Upload an Image" Window pops up on the screen, you enter the link or upload from your computer, click "Enter", and the page refreshes with the image visible to the public. I would rather the image uploads worked like the comments, where they light up and get inserted into their space in their respective image gallery. This would save a lot of time for people with slow internet connections or computers, and would still save a little time for people with fast internet connections and computers.

2: Uploading images in batches, or quickly uploading:

I would like to see the option of adding a new link bar or computer-file bar to a certain amount so you can upload a group of pictures, rather than one image at a time. OR, the option I prefer but some people might not, entering the link or file name into the window, clicking "Enter", And having the window not disappear until you ex out of it.

Does anyone agree?

The only problem I see with uploading in batches is that it couled be abused by porn and gore spammers, so I wouled limit it to a tool only editors of that entry can use.

Which still doesn't prevent porn or gore spammers.

I think that the ability to upload in batches, if the ability ever gets coded in/given out, should be doled out by the admins on a person by person basis, so only people who they know wouldn't abuse it would get said powers.

I thought of the spammer possibility too, and the best thing I could come up with to combat that and still make uploading easy was to ask for the non closing window instead of image uploading in batches.

Or you could have the images pending until a moderator approves for the images to be uploaded.

Hundreds and hundreds of images get uploaded daily. That would be a ton of work.

There's also the possibility of sneaking something in in the middle of a bundle of pictures.

Again, there's another option in there for rapid uploading of pictures.

Let me reword that: I wouled like to see a mass uploading tool that can only be used by people uploading images to their own meme entrys or entrys they are editor of. However, mods shouled also have a mass deletion tool just in case the power is abused.

However, I also like the idea of it being handed out by mods. So either way I will be happy.
