In order to save me the trouble of having an Imageshack account I have been storing much of my artwork and shoops inside my own image gallery in my profile

Now I never assigned any of that stuff to a meme since virtually all of it is used for forum presentations and jokes and not for actual meme research. It was my expectation that because I have not assigned any of these to a meme that they don't appear under search terms

Or do they?

I was taken by surprise to find that some of my images have been getting some correspondence like my Cheeto Pony here

My guess is that my images are turning up in search terms or the trending bar, then people go and vote on them or comment on them.

That might explain some mysterious negakrama I have been getting out of nowhere, for instance I got downvoted for defacing Warcraftnerds little photo (you know the one).

If Warcraftnerd didn't do that himself then someone else found my macro's and though my little joke was a serious attempt at an advice dog spinoff. Without the context of the original thread I posted them on, one can assume that

So whats the deal here? Are people finding my images outside of the forum?

Votes up and down on images don't affect one's karma score.

I beliieve that the reason Olivia and I wrote that on your image was because it had been in the image stream and we saw it or it was one of the popular images that day.

I'm sure I didn't find it by searching.

I don't believe you can search for images unless you've tagged said image.
