These people tried the same thing a year ago. These few are only a small glimpse of last years raid though. They're just trying to be EPIC LULZ ARMY XDDD, but I give them kudos for trying with their small amount of supporters.

Feel free to report them here.

Actually, I'm generally "you guys." Not many other moderators see to this thread on a regular basis from what I've seen.

And to keep from needlessly permabanning IPs that aren't actually from spammers, I have to check the activity of each of those links. It's not as simple as opening the link and permabanning without looking. Some of these instances involve contacting the user to see if they simply misunderstood what the entry or site is about or if they're simply using their own image galleries without interacting or otherwise contributing to the site (in my eyes, a user doesn't have to have a list of contributions in order to use their own galleries as long as the media isn't potentially dangerous.) This isn't something that I do every time I get on KYM, because I'm making posts, seeing to the forum, reading/answering/sending/properly responding to PM's.

Now granted, I did take up that responsibility. But considering that most spam accounts only post once or in one stream of activity and then never post again, I am in no mad rush to deactivate them, because they've done all that they will do.

Or put more simply, to go through a list of 6-7 accounts doesn't take me 3-4 minutes to deactivate, especially if I have to contact the user in question. This isn't to say that I'm not grateful for the users finding and reporting these accounts, but it takes more time for me to practically delete these users than it does to post them here.
