Maybe something on your end, looks fine to me, perhaps your adblock detects it as an ad (Sometimes images don't show up because of this) and therefore blocks it

Again the thumbnail of the last pic I posted wont appear and I have no way to link you to because this appeared:

504 Gateway Time-out

The server didn't respond in time.

So I hope it worked fine.
It's the one with the three pokemon starters from Sun and Moon.

P.S. I found a way to access the page and the image doesn't appear.
Does it happen to you too?

P.S.S. I'm deleting and reuploading again
and again
and again
and again
I'm using all my stubborness but it's uneffective.

I give up! I'm tired of fighting with your #$% server
This is the pic: http://orig14.deviantart.net/0047/f/2016/134/4/6/pokemon_starters_alola__pack08__by_playfurry-da2fwnt.jpg
This is the page where it should be but it isn't:

And this is my frustration:

I told you it is because you have adblock enabled, probably the filename has the word "ad" in it or something that is detected as an ad by the extension, ergo, you won't be able to see it.

Thanks! It really was because that! I deactivated Adblock and Adblockplus and I could see the pic.
Jesus Krystal! I need a new adblocker that is not a motherf…

Yeah. Adblock is treating that image upload as an "ad" because it's stored in this site as ad4.jpg. I had that happen to me once when trying to upload an image myself. Like you, Hypercat, I tried deleting and reuploading again but to avail.

I may dropped the whole thing and moved on but it made me realize that whether it was done by URL or saved on your desktop, it will always be that same combination of letters and numbers. Provided of course the image is from the same source.

Just today I recently discovered a way to get around Adblock's detection. If you still want that image uploaded here, Hypercat, then download it, duplicate the image, and upload that duplicate. It will be uploaded under a different set of letters and numbers.

That image I brought up earlier had the issue with Adblock detecting it as an ad because the site was storing it as "ad" and a number, but it's duplicate didn't. Instead, it is stored as "5c8."

I'm not sure it would work because I tried with other duplicates of that pic with different names.

Were you only renaming the file or did you make a copy of it and tried uploading the copy?

I downloaded the file from other sources.
But I'll try your suggestion.
P.S. I can't upload the copy cuz your site detect it's the same pic. I should delete it first but it has already one like and I'm not sure I want to try your method without garantee it will works.
Tough, if other users have AB or ABP they wouldn't be able to see the pic as well and if they could I would have more likes.Tough decision though!

Okay, so I take back the duplicate method. Somehow duplicating that Soleil/Ophelia image caused it to recieve more bytes (duplicate at 280 kb vs original at 251 kb). It didn't work with that Aloha starters image as both the original and duplicate remained at 338 KBs.

Were you trying to upload the DeviantArt version or did you try uploading it from other sources? Try uploading this imgur version. It worked on my end. If you're still hesitant than upload it to no gallery to see if it works for you. If it does, delete the Adblock version and request a mod to move that image to Pokemon.

I found a way, I made a slightly corrupted copy of the file. So your site will detect it as another file.
P.S. And in the end I discovered there was already a copy of it. Even more corrupted.

So it was already uploaded to the Pokemon gallery? Based on the notes, that one was uploaded from FurAffinity.

Still, I suppose in the event that an image uploaded here happens to have "ad" in it's file name, the best way to get around it is by posting it elsewhere first like Imgur, then upload that mirror to KYM.

Fortunately, "ad" does not show up a lot for image uploads here. It probably would have been dealt with by now if it more common.

With all due respect, but why would the site try to fix an issue that is only present to adblock users? That's like public transport trying to support fare dodgers.
