A little Strawpoll

So currently, I am undecided. I really want to know the pros and cons of each really well. I also wanted perspectives not from just other UK users, but European and even Americans/rest of the world. In a lot of ways, I feel that the EU has unnecessary power over the UK and that in terms of decisions that the UK doesn't affect it as much as it should. But my main concern is financial stability, is the EU really just a sink for millions of pounds or is it providing safety to the UK.

What's your opinion? What do you think will happen if the UK leaves?

is the EU really just a sink for millions of pounds

It is but it would be worse if Margaret Thatcher didn't do that renegotiation of UK's monetary contribution decades earlier.

i would say no because other countries may also follow (Germany and Finland for example were euro-skepticism has grown with the crisis ) and make Europe crumble into crisis even more.
And the Scots would want to get out of the UK.

I think the referendum is taking place too soon; it's too early to know if the recent backfire will persude the EU will stop making suicidally stupid decisions or if they will continue marching towars the cliff.

On the simple basis that in my opinion, the EU has no Deomcratic method of choosing who is in charge (as in, we can not actively elect who is in charge), I'm all in favour of getting the fuck out of the EU.

But regardless of what choice is made, I doubt we will know the full effects of the desision for years

True, but we can get accurate predictions or at least plausible situations.
