Western Media has lied about the situation in Syria

According to an independent canadian journalist who traveled to syria, a large number of western correspondents in the country are not actually present in areas they claim to report on (heavily the case of eastern allepo) often citing mass genocide on civilians by the syrian and russian forces and covering US ceasefire violations in an attempt to continue coup operations. Of course the journalist spoke to actual civilians in recently freed eastern allepo with heavy support for goverment forces and no actual reports of civilians being killed by the military.

The video goes more in depth into the issue.

Thanks for bringing this up.

Last week, just prior to the Aleppo's latest ceasefire and evacuation, there was a big push among the major Western news organizations of "record" (BBC, CNN are examples) to highlight atrocities in Aleppo. This coincided with an increased focus on alleged Russian attempts to influence the outcome of the US elections

Some this information is demonstrably fake.

Other information is suspicious. People questioned why a 7 year old girl's mother would be tweeting on a verified Twitter account from the middle of a war zone. Others have pointed out that certain individuals keep appearing in possibly staged photos.

While some of this sounds conspiratorial, there is an extensive history of propagandized stories coming out of the Middle East.

As always this is not to discount actual war crimes occurring in Aleppo or anywhere else, but to remind everyone to be discerning consumers of news- particularly news which provokes strong emotional responses in viewers.

Her lack of objective and balanced journalism put all her other arguments and claims (that very well may be correct) in a questionable view. Lets be honest here. 0 critisism about Assad and his soldiers actions vs civilians? No words about the result from all the bombing? there is 0% posibility that war crimes are not commited the way this war has been driven.

So I did some research on her. She has written for various conspiracy sites including SOTT. net, The Duran, MintPress and Globalresearch. But more recently she has emerged as a contributor to Russia Today. In the press conference they all repeated the claims usually made by the regime’s official media SANA and Russia Today: all rebels are terrorists, there is no siege, civilians are being held hostage, the regime is seen as a “liberator” etc.

So you have to wonder, is this not just another Polarized view?

I love this video so much. People need to see this and understand what is really going on. I always have believed that the western media was always slandering and plastering Syria and Russia as the antagonists.

Who is the real liar, and who is really spreading propoganda here?

Considering that your cited source doesn't have cited sources themselves, and that they have proven incentive to spin a story that paints russia and russian allies in a positive light in this issue, im going to go out on a limb and say this woman is trying to sell a story that sounds good to hear but holds no water, just like ang other clickbait writer.

Civilians making social media pleas from Aleppo actually activists with MSM primetime access

Civilians in eastern Aleppo accuse rebel leaders of corruption, storm aid center

RT is run by the russian goverment, so while they are totally biased towards russia, it helps bring a light towards US lies and crimes.

as for the third website:

"The site is ran by Leith Abu Fadel. It's considered credible because Leith has a lot of relatives, friends, and acquaintances in the the Syrian security forces, allowing him to accurately report military developments in Syria as they happen. "

these 3 sources combined with the recent scandal of US media reporting fake news pretty much breaks apart the western narrative and support the canadian journalist, now im not saying Bashar al-Assad and Putin are the good guys, but syrian citizens are not crying for the US to enter and destabilize their goverment like they did with iraq any day.

If anything they realized the rebels are just causing them more pain in this pointless struggle.

I don't believe in any of the stories from either camp. When empathy is being used as a tool of geopolitical power plays, tuning all information out is imo the only way to find the truth.
