Aquí les pongo una guía especialmente hecha para los que saben poco inglés, o no le entienden a algunos términos (los memes contienen muchos neologismos que hacen más difícil entender lo que se está diciendo, con bastantes significados figurativos).

También pondré una guía de "etiqueta", que sirve para la mayoría de los sitos de internet, que ayudará a que no los baneen.

Si NO sabes Nada de Inglés

Primero, te felicito. Hablas el español, uno de los lenguajes más usados en el mundo y también uno de los más vastos en cuanto a vocabulario. Segundo, te recomiendo aprender otro(s) idioma(s), te preguntarás porqué, o si no será volverte como esos latinos que se creen estadounidenses. Pues con este mundo globalizado, saber varios idiomas ayuda a comunicarse mejor. Más en internet.

Gran parte del contenido de internet está en inglés, otra gran parte está en japonés y chino; también hay mucho que está en español. Una muy pequeña parte está traducida oficialmente a otro idioma y las traducciones automáticas (como el traductor de google) no están suficientemente avanzadas para traducir adecuadamente.

Te recomiendo aprender algunas frases en inglés, cuando menos las básicas para hacer comentarios. Si tu comentario es muy largo, puedes pedirle a un amigo que te lo traduzca.

Comentando y Posteando el los Foros

Comentar en una entrada es lo más básico que se puede hacer en la mayoría de las páginas web 2.0, ya sea utilizando tu cuenta de la página, o facebook connect, las reglas son similares.

Los comentarios pueden ir de lo más básico (decir que está genial, no te gustó o comentar por cierta parte), hasta comentarios elaborados y largos, o un chiste listillo. Como en todos lados, los extremos son malos: si posteas algo demasiado corto (por ejemplo un simple "lol") puede ser tomado como spam, si comentas algo demasiado largo y sin pausas (bloque de texto), la gente evitará leerlo.

Tus comentarios pueden generar likes y dislikes (pulgares arriba y abajo), como en youtube y otros sitos. Los comentarios más gustados salen como "featured" antes de todos los demás, los comentarios con demasiados dislikes aparecen marcados como spam y tienes que seleccionarlos para leerlos.

Los buenos o malos comentarios harán tu reputación en el sitio y te darán Karma (llamada krama por los usuarios) si fueron posteados en los foros.

Las reglas también son buena ortografía y gramática (no tiene que ser perfecto, pero no pasarse a escribir como texting), sin usar ALL CAPS y mucho menos "anDaAr ezcrviEnDO @sI"
Tampoco hacer comentarios ofensivos o insultantes (cuando es una crítica se debe de hacer constructivamente. Obviamente esto implica no trollear, spamear ni postear links NSFW (cosas que te despedirían del trabajo o te suspenderían de la escuela si te encuentran viéndolas).
También pedir que te regalen Krama, andar pidiendo a la gente que te agregue como amigo sin conocerte, entre otras formas de autopromoción, son spam.

Los comentarios en un meme ayudan en la deliberación, pero por favor no postees simplemente +confirm, +deadpool. Sobre todo si la decisión ya fue tomada.

Siguiente parte de la guía: Haciendo "summisions"

Pasos a considerar para hacer una buena summision:

1. Es indispensable tener un meme, celebridad web, subcultura, que postear. No es recomendable ponerse a buscar como loco un meme nomas por postear algo (eso sería como querer gastar tu dinero solo porque "te quema el bolsillo").

También es válido tener nueva información sobre una entrada existente, por ejemplo que la página no diga que la persona de la que se habla ya murió o que sigue siendo famoso en twitter.

2- Lo más sencillo, buscar en la página (en la barra de búsqueda) el meme en cuestión y revisar si ya existe una entrada. Si la página está muy mal hecha, incompleta o incluso rechazada (deadpooled), puedes ofrecerte a editarla, para mejorarla.

3- Si no existe una entrada, no te vallas directo a crear una. En lugar de eso crea un tema en los foros, entre más respuestas con información nueva tenga, más oportunidad hay de que sea una buena entrada.

Así no solo te cercioras de que haya mucha información, sino que si no sabes bien inglés o no sabes cómo redactar el artículo, alguien puede ayudarte a hacerlo.

4- También, es recomendable invitar a cooperar a gente de otros lados, tanto por internet como en tu escuela o con tus amigos. Una buena idea es hacer un tweet al respecto.

Ten en cuenta que eso no significa hacer que gente postee solo para forzar un meme y que hay maneras de comprobar cuando un meme se intentó generar. Esta página es una especie de enciclopedia de memes, no una fábrica de memes.
