My favourite is the Half Life medkit sound effect, that boop-boop-tss sound is strangely attractive.

The button pressing noises you hear in The Stanley Parable.

Any shotgun reload/pump.

Game announcer yelling PENTAKILL or anything along those lines.

Technically not a sound effect, but still my fav.

Any single BEEP noise, preferably followed by a red light or something.

I like it so much, it's my current email notification tone.

I know this is questionable, but I see the hammer theme as a sound effect as it's basically a power-up jingle that loops for a brief period of time.

I can't think of a favourite right now, but that one crate/pallet breaking noise in Half-Life 1 and 2 that sounds more like electronic beeping than wood breaking, that annoys the hell out of me.

The BLIP when you grab a ring in Sonic The Hedgehog

The Mass Effect trilogy had such amazing sound effects, but my favorite has to be that of the Reapers.

I love the old 8-bit sound effects. Something about them just seem so fascinating.

Any "level up" noise, from Pokemon to Fallout.

Speaking of Half-Life sounds, I love the noise when you press a button. It's the same noise in Portal. Hell, all of the sounds in Half-Life are just so delicious. I love the noises all the weapons make, the HECU voice clips sound awesome (even though they're mostly inaudible), all the Xen alien noises sound great, etc.

The sound that plays when you pause Street Fighter 2 is just hilariously awful.

I will never forget this man's god-like voice.

Pure Satisfaction
-Cob Cannons firing in PvZ.
-The boss defeat explosion in KSS
-Bullet Bill going in ANY Mario Kart game it is in.
-Just about any 1-up sound
-The large "CHING!" in SSB when you successfully land a Smash Bat hit.
-The pokemon Experience bar filling
-Also the little jingle when you collect an item from same game
-Coins in Mario Party 4
Nice noise
-Coins, Rings, etc. collection noises.
-The Whirring from Heavy's (TF2) gun
-The Solarbeam hit noise in Pokemon gen 4

I only pulled like 5 of these in my whole life

Pulling off one of these (even though I don't use this any more).
This is one of the most relieving sounds in any game.
