Sooooo, you basically just post any ideas that have been rolling around in your head for a game or for a story in a game or whatever. It can be for an existing series or something totally original. Feel free to be specific or just provide vague ideas. It's up to you.

Mine:

"Metroid Prime 4" (Working title. Doesn't have to be called that or even have the gameplay from the Prime series

>After Fusion
>Samus is flying around fucking shit up as usual on the run from the Federation
>Sylux has been stalking her for like 4 games
>They meet
>They fite
>Tie
>Sylux says how it knew the Federation was corrupt this whole time
>They join forces to fuck the Federation up like badasses together
>Fuck the Federation up like badasses together
>The Federation is cloning Metroids and Ridley for the 156th time
>cloning clones
>gene pool is getting shallow
>inbred Metroids with mutant inbred powers and shit
>The duo puts together a small army including the other hunters from Prime Hunters and other races throughout the series like the Luminoth
>raid Federation HQ
>fite Ridley
>Sylux is fatally wounded (by Ridley maybe?)
>take helmet of dead Sylux off
>is grill
>Samus' long lost sister/mother (maybe stretching the plot twists a bit too much)
>Samus is fucking pissed
>kicks ass
>fites epic final boss thingy (Mother Brain, Super Ridley, Ultra Metroid, giant Federation Mech, Dark Samus reborn, who cares as long as it's epic as fuck)
>planet explodes because tradition
>Fin

Right now I'm about 3300 words into my initial design documents for a 3rd person action RPG.
I started with the idea back in 10th grade (2 years ago) when I got assigned to write a short story that had to have some sort of multimedia tie-in, which for me was a video game cover. (It used to be very heavily pony based, but I'm trying to generalize it so that the themes are just tropes rather than specific references.)
This year I have a video game design class (which is also what I'm planning to major in next year) that I've fallen absolutely in love with. By the end of the class we'll each have a 30 page design document and a semi-functional pre-alpha of the game.
I could share some of the documents with you if you'd promise not to steal them. (◡‿◡✿)

One time for class I think last week, I was told to write a start of a story I started writing an idea and in my mind it was constantly becoming a bigger idea. It the basic plot is not the most original this but in this age what is 100% original. The current word count is 3984 so isn't very long currently.

While I'm not in a video game design class, seeing a design document does interest me.

It is after the Apocalpyse and the final defeat of Satan, and God has been overthrown- the details are hazy. (Perhaps the inspiration of prequel installments.) However, what is believed to be the main inspiration for the uprising is well known. Since Creation, the "Lord" had constantly lied and deceived his children of the heavens to keep from them the greatest secret of all reality: the existence of the vast Multiverse. He is a selfish and jealous being, who at all costs- even the continued preventable suffering of countess beings within the countless other universes- tried to make sure that no one within his domain discovered that he was not the supreme and infallible ruler of all humanity. Or, at least, that was what the revolutionaries claimed. Certainly God hid behind several layers of powerful defense the only method of traveling to those other universes, which was recently rediscovered by a soon-to-be-legendary half-angel/half-human warrior.

Enter the main character. (Name not yet chosen- it has to be perfect.) He is one of the millions of angels who live in the upper spheres. But he is different. Far different. For he was formed carefully by God for the singular purpose of guarding a hidden passage that directly connects Heaven and Hell, with long battles with gargantuan and terrifying demons scattered between tens, hundreds, and even thousands of years of pure boredom. Thus, the typical obsession with virtue and strong aversion to violence is nonexistent in him- in fact, he very well might not even be sane.

Nevertheless, it is now his responsibility to lead a crew into the unknown. Specifically, the nearest adjacent universe to their own, where "God" was always weaker and the Devil stronger, and as a result their Apocalyse ended in the opposite result. Beasts of all kinds roam everywhere. Evil, fear, and torture is the law of the land. And they are there to save it.

The main point of the story would be as a character study, with its secondary function to build up this reality for an eventual franchise. Twists and turns abound in the plot. It would be a side-schroling action platformer with no lives system- instead, the player would be given a very long life bar at the beginning of each long level, and they must carefully conserve their health through skilled combat utilizing all of the Seven Holy Arms in order to pass. (That's right, a real sonofabitch of a game, old-school Nintendo style.) Every enemy would have some form of true AI, and their difficulty would often be more based on how intelligent they are rather than how powerful, including the massive boss battles.

And… exhale.

In Co-op mode, the 1st player can use a weapon and a health meter while the 2nd player doesn't but has 3 strike health and when it hits zero, the 2nd player was uncontrollable to attack the 1st player unless recover by mashing the directional pad.

I've had the idea of a James Bond game that combines several missions from each film, and utilizes various types of gameplay, including third-person shooting, stealth, fighting and driving. This would make it more unique and interesting than 007 Legends, which tried too hard to be like CoD and only contained one mission from only a few films.

An online game like World of Tanks but for Metal Gear variants only.
maybe not a full game on its own, perhaps just a mini game within a game.

Imagine the MG battle in MGS4 but with 4 vs 4 or 10 vs 10 battles.
you could customize and earn new variants/pilots as you rank up.

Maybe have a co-op mode where you and 3 others have to take on an AI "boss" variant.
just spit-balling here.

I've always been rolling around an idea in my head about a game where you can tweak the difficulty in many ways to suit your own liking. Such as:

- Your own durability: You can give yourself a full and hearty health bar, limit yourself to only lasting 5 or so hits, or going Metal Slug and dying if you so much as get poked once.

- Your weapons: Do you like powerful weapons that obliterate everything before you in a single strike? Or are you happy fighting with a crowbar that's only really powerful if you hit the enemies weakspot? There can be a difficulty adjustment.

- Item drops: Either you can have every enemy be a loot pinata, or you can have it so you need to kill 50 monsters just to make enough money to buy a weak shield.

- Enemy levels: Instead of buffing an enemies HP or attack power, getting decide what kind of 'class' of enemy shows up would make things more interesting. You can pick the easy class and fight unarmed skeletons, pick the middle class and fight armored skeletons with magic fireballs, or pick the hard class and fight giant, magic wielding skeletons decked out in might armor. Also, they have four arms that carry a weapon the size of your body and can breath fire across most of the battlefield.

- Boss power: Maybe you want straightforward bosses with recognizable patterns. Maybe you want a boss that picks random attacks that keeps you on your toes. Maybe you want a boss that changes patterns once it drops to 50% health and then 25% health. That would be a nifty thing to get to choose.

Using stuff like this would allow any player of any skill level be able to enjoy thing. It can be as casual or hardcore as you like. No worrying about easy mode being too easy or hard mode being too hard.

I had this idea where you're an agent working for a secret society in the far future. The premise is you work for this city-state that was founded by people who cryogenically preserved themselves to outlast the apocalypse, which was brought on mainly with biological weapons and EMPs, so nature wasn't wiped out. 3,000 years later, their city state is thriving, but there are lots of small city-state cultures around their region of the world that they are trying to unite. As one of the brotherhood agents, you have to traverse the overgrown, lush frontier wilderness and help negotiate deals with the cities, usually working to solve certain problems for them. There'd be a lot of stealth-- trying to get by guards non-lethally in the cities and trying to survive the wilderness by any means necessary.

Up to 3500 words now. Here are my design documents in pastebin form. (Ignore the blatant pony references, they're just guidelines/reminders to myself.) Some of the answers are a little out of context without their corresponding question, but you can probably figure it out. Feedback and comments are appreciated, through PM or in here if it's not too long.

Conker's Other Bad Fur Day. This would continue after the original when Conker is last seen heading to the Nasty direction. It'd be a bit more open world rather than platforming, and would feature a quite larger array of characters, enemies, etc. There'd be multiple branches on how the story could end, and different options in regards on speaking to NPCs.

I just want a game like Clock Tower: First Fear. Basically an adventure game with horror themes and chase sequences.
And no, I don't mean games like Clock Tower 3 and Haunting Ground, I want 2D graphics and a cursor. Kinda like what Remothered was SUPPOSED to be. sigh

Actually, I would be happy just to get the original Clock Tower on PC with proper mouse controls…

A Fallout game set in the southeastern US, particularly in and around Charleston. It would have some plot points from the cancelled Fallout Tactics 2, and would introduce a Carolina chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel, as well as the Legion Remnants (in a similar fashion to the Enclave Remnants) among the factions. The main plot revolves around the control of Fort Sumter, and there would be DLCs in Charlotte, the Everglades, Myrtle Beach, and Norfolk.

A SCP game about a CI assault kidnapping a lot of anomalies and bringing them to their base. They fail and all the anomalies are set loose on long island. There would be no civilians, but the GOC and CI would be enemies. There would be vehicles like the T-90, M1A2, and Humvee, and Aircraft like the MiG-23, F-14 and F-15.
