According to Microsoft the Series S model is mainly aimed at people who don't care about 4K resolutions but still want high performance, stating the console aims mainly for a 1440p resolution and 60 FPS plus the fast load times and quick starting the "main" Series X model is going to use.

Honestly smart move on Microsoft's part offering a cheaper model from the get go, even if Sony confirms the PS5 is $400, less than the Series X, the Series S might hold more appeal to average consumers who want a next gen console ASAP (especially if 4K doesn't matter to them).

Sounds pretty decent if you ask me (it's about the same price as a Switch right now).

Being "pc master race" I'd have to look at the exclusives first before buying a console, but honestly Sony lost me this last console generation and a lot more Japanese games are seeing pc releases.

Disgaea, Monster Hunter, and Kingdom Hearts are all games that primarily were on Sony consoles but they've made the jump to Nintendo and Microsoft ones. Hell, even Horizon Zero Dawn and Detroit: Become Human got PC releases so I'm starting to see less and less reason to specifically own a new playstation outside of the Demon Souls Remaster. Especially with how they've screwed Marvelous in regards to Senran Kagura.

If this corporate report is to be believed, we may see more PS exclusives coming to PC in the foreseeable future.
