A small but interesting topic I figured I'd make. So when Mario 3D All-Stars was announced a common question was if Mario Sunshine had Gamecube controller support, given the Switch has an adapter for Gamecube controllers thanks to Smash Ultimate. At first Nintendo's response was "no," but clearly the devs must have taken notice of the demands around the launch of the collection because the version 1.1 update adds some highly requested controller updates. Now one that applies to all games is an option for inverted camera controls, a common camera option that was oddly missing at launch. But the biggest addition is Mario Sunshine now has Gamecube controller support, allowing players to play the game like the original 2002 Gamecube release. Here's hoping that if a "Zelda Collection" comes out next year on Switch that has Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD they do something similar there for people who originally played those on the Gamecube back in the day.
