On September 4th, 2023, the Twitter account @NoContextEnter^[1] tweeted a blank template of the poster for the Adam Sandler film Eight Crazy Nights, removing the film's title (original shown below, left). The post gained over 1,300 retweets and 13,000 likes in three days (shown below).

Spread

The tweet quickly inspired edits on Twitter. For example, on September 4th, 2023, user @MegaChanRevival^[2] reposted it with the Say Gex image, gaining over 70 retweets and 940 likes in three days (shown below, left). The same day, user @Brule_64^[3] made a Team Fortress 2 edit of the picture, gaining over 190 retweets and 1,300 likes (shown below, right).
