About

Alan Reet, also known as Al Reet, is the alter ego of British TikToker Mitchell Sercombe (@mitchellsercombe). "Alan Reet" is a reference to the British slang term "alreet" as a male name. "Alreet" is a different pronunciation of "alright," often said at the beginning of Sercombe's videos. Sercombe created the Alan Reet character in late 2024, as Sercombe was becoming a symbol of the British slang term "chav" (or "charva") on TikTok. By April 2025, the Alan Reet lore had evolved to include many family members, so-called "dark matter bricklayers" and the use of British rapper Feng's music in JuggTok videos that focused on Alan Reet and other British "chav" memes, such as Chavgartha, and influencers like Beavo and Jamie G. The JuggTok captions often humorously outlined the "U.K.'s most prized possessions" or the "U.K.'s most sacred objects." One of which was usually one of Alan Reet's possessions.

Origin
