What happened to all or nothing Before I get into this post at all, I'd like to say that No one involved is at fault but me. Everyone else on "The team" had nothing to do with the money or any information being with held. Everything you're all angry about is completely to do with me and nothing to do with anyone else. Now then, I was a stupid child with no sense of responsibility at the time of this campaign. That is not a way to try to make me less accountable, that's just an explanation of why I acted the way I did. When I saw the original post I had said on Facebook that I thought it was an amazing idea. A friend of mine told me "Yeah it is, lets do it" and being the naive person I was, I was completely gung-ho about it, and made the campaign. I found a nice camera and thought "OK, that's all we really need" so I made that the goal. When it took off, everyone was super happy and super excited, and planning began. Shortly after, a lot of people began pulling out for one reason or another. One person moved, another two had a falling out and didn't want to be involved with each other, and so on. after that we were left with about 3 of us, including myself. I didn't have a bank account at the time and neither did anyone else, so I asked a family member if I could use theirs. We got all of that taken care of, the money was (presumably) safely in the bank. We sat on it for a bit while we began writing the first episode. A few weeks later, the person whose account we'd used for the money came to me and told me it was gone. I panicked, asked what happened to it and why, they told me they were short on their own money and "Needed" it. Explaining that to the others was difficult, and I felt awful and really angry, but I did it, and there was nothing that we could do but tell everyone what happened and apologize. When that didn't work and people got angry, I panicked again. Everyone else, while sympathetic, basically told me it was my fault and I had to handle it, which is completely understandable and I don't blame them. In my panic I thought if I just ignore it and delete what I can, it will go away. Very irresponsible and stupid and not at all OK. By the time a few years later (about 2016 to now) that most of the anger and questioning had subsided, I'd all but forgotten this had even happened. With the situation I'm in now I can honestly offer nothing but apologies. I was a stupid and irresponsible 16 year old and I didn't think about the consequences and I'm not saying that is even in the realm of being OK but there really is nothing I can do. I'm sorry. If anyone can verify that they donated (I do have the list of backers and the amount they donated aside from those who remained anonymous) Then I can try to give your money back. Beyond that there is nothing in my power to make this right and that alone will eat away at me. I expect to receive hateful messages for years to come and am fully prepared. Everyone is justified in their anger and hate toward me. Once again I do want to say that it is completely, utterly, and irrefutably my fault. Do not attack anyone else who was involved because they had nothing to do with the actual problem.
