Bayu Manusia Silver (Eng. Bayu the Silver Man) refers to image of a guy who painted himself with silver-colored paint while showing his genitals. The image gained popular with edits in early 2025 after it was used as bait-and-switch to pranking Indonesian YouTuber, Reza Auditore, where their fans sending the video thorough donation when he livestreaming.

Origin

On January 12th, 2021, Twitter / X^[1] user @adrianjrit uploaded a photo of guy who painted himself with silver-colored paint while showing his genitals. The post received 455 likes in four years (cropped version shown below).

In early 2025, Indonesian streamer, Reza Auditore, in his membership only livestream the fans spamming the photo as bait-and-switch memes and edits thorough donation, and then naming the guy in the photo as Bayu. For example on January 22nd, 2025, Reza Auditore in his YouTube^[2] second channel uploaded earliest clip of his fans sending a donation with a Bayu's bait-and-switch video while he livestreaming (shown below).

Spread

Starting late January 2025, the image gained popular outside the Reza's community with edits and memes. For example on January 29th, 2025, Facebook^[3] user Wahyu Said X uploaded an edit of Silver Surfer to the "biskuitgosong" group. The post received more than 2,400 reactions in one week (shown below).

On January 31st, 2025, Facebook^[4] user Unkl Mitball uploaded an edit of character Himmel's statue from Frieren: Beyond Journey's End using Bayu's photo. The post received more than 3,300 reactions in one week (shown below).
