About

Bear Chasing Person Down Hall refers to a viral video of a person in a bear costume chasing someone down a narrow hallway, filmed from the perspective of the person being chased. The video was originally uploaded by a Russian TikToker in March 2021. Over the course of the following year the video gained viral spread as people attached ominous music over it and reuploaded it across the web, often referring to the bear as Freddy Fazbear IRL from Five Nights at Freddy's.

Origin

On March 16th, 2021, Russian TikToker[1] @egorquiet posted a video showing a person in a bear costume chasing them down a narrow hallway as they yell in fear, gaining over 1.7 million views in just under a year (shown below). This is the original upload. The bear costume is based on the character "Bear" from the Russian animated series Masha And The Bear.
