Behzinga Shocked Face refers to a exploitable image macro reaction from a English YouTube streamer Behzinga in which he stares into the camera in shockness on a red bike. The face became the subject of memes, particularly image macros and as a reaction for grotesque or disturbing situations, similarly to Unsettled Tom and Polish Jerry. It saw a revival on Reddit in late December 2020 and the starting of January and February 2021.

Origin

On August 3rd, 2019, YouTuber Callux posted a video titled "Flying to Surprise KSI with my Friends."^[1] At the 7:07 mark (shown below), Ethan is putting the red bike down the stairs then he hears a noise and stares directly into the camera with a shocked face. The video hit 2.4 million views in 2 years.

The earliest know usage of this meme was posted in the r/Behzinga subreddit on December 23rd, 2020 by Redditor^[2] lamo_3 with the text saying "Me: masturbates on the bed after a long day. Everyone else at ikea." The meme recived over 4 upvotes in 8 months (shown below).

Spread

The clip spread across Reddit over the course of December 2020 and the beginning of 2021 seeing use in image macros, and as a reaction image.

On December 24th, 2020, Redditor^[3] 123ayushsan posted a photo of Behzinga with the shocked face with the caption "me: does an unboxing video Everyone else at the funeral:" which was posted in the r/Behzinga subreddit. The post hit 1,900 upvotes in 8 months (shown below).
