Blink Motherfucker refers to a dubbed video of a cat with large eyes which went viral in November of 2018.
Origin
On August 7th, 2018, an Instagram account for a cat with large eyes named wilfredwarrior posted a video of the cat staring at the camera (shown below).
Spread
On November 11th, actor and director Michael Rapaport posted a video in which he dubbed audio over the wilfredwarrior video, acting scared of the cat and at one point memorably telling it, "Blink, motherfucker!" The video gained over 1.3 million views (shown below).
The following day, it was uploaded to YouTube by Bee Shots, where it gained over 1.1 million views (shown below).
The YouTube upload helped the video spread to other sites. For example, the YouTube upload was posted to Reddit's /r/videos,[1] where it gained over 21,000 points, and /r/youtubehaiku[3] (11,000 points). A GIF version was posted to /r/WatchPeopleDieInside, where it gained over 400 points.[2] It was also posted to blogs including Whiskeyriff[4] and allcrazycats.[5]
