On December 19th, 2019, The Cube TV Show's official YouTube^[1] channel uploaded a video titled "Contestant Wins £50,000 Emptying Tub Of Balls!" In the video, contestant Sarah manages to empty a tub of balls and screams in happiness after winning the £50,000 prize mere seconds before the timer is done. The video (shown below) amassed over 831,000 views and 6,500 likes in four years.

Sarah's video emptying the tub of balls became a viral exploitable meme on TikTok and one of the earliest examples was posted on June 11th, 2023, by TikTok^[2] user @milorizzcombinns posted The Cube Lady Screaming paired with the overlay text "Me quickly removing all the messages of something offensive in the group chat before someone will try to leak them." The video (shown below, left) amassed more than 731,000 plays and 184,000 likes in seven months. In mid-December 2023 the meme became increasingly more popular on TikTok,^[3] especially after @gianlucacarrilloo's post on December 7th, which added the overlay text "Me when I forgot about the food in the microwave but managed to open it before it beeped." The post (shown below, right) received over 688,000 plays, 78,000 likes and 2,500 other videos were uploaded on the platform using it as sound for other memes.
