Bro Said He Knew A Spot refers to a trend on TikTok where users show off their hangout or smoke session spot, often a secluded place, abandoned building or a spot with a nice view, ironically captioned "bro said he knew a spot" as if not impressed by the spot. The trend began in April 2022 and went viral over the following months and is similar to the I Know A Spot meme.

Origin

On April 7th, 2022, TikToker^[1] @st00b_ posted a video ironically captioned, "Homie said he knew a spot🤦" showing a cliff edge overlooking the ocean, gaining over 3 million views in two months (shown below).

On May 15th, TikToker^[2] @eimundt posted a video following the trend, gaining over 4.1 million views in two weeks (shown below, left). On May 26th, TikToker^[3] @jokersiwa posted a similar video, gaining over 1.8 million views in six days (shown below, right).
