About
Came In A Fluffer refers to jokes about statistics posted by internet adult content creator Aella regarding her birthday gangbang, noting that 5 of the 42 men in attendance "came in a fluffer," meaning they orgasmed with a woman at the event who's job it was to ensure men had erect penises before having sex with Aella. On social media, the statistic inspired jokes about the men who attended the gangbang but climaxed with a woman other than Aella. Furthermore, a parody of Aella's Sankey Diagram charting the event that changed the relevant details save for "came in a fluffer" went viral in business circles online, leading to jokes and discourse about what "came in a fluffer" could mean in a business context.
Origin
On February 29th, 2024, Aella posted her report[1] about her now-infamous Birthday Gangbang. The report included a Sankey Diagram detailing how Aella whittled down 1,600 applicants to attend her gangbang to 42 invitees, as well as how those invitees fared at the event itself. Of the 42 men who attended, Aella noted 5 "didn't bang" her, 17 came in her, 15 didn't orgasm, and 5 "came in a fluffer."
In a blog post detailing her experience of the event as well as the organizational minutia,[2] Aella explained that women had volunteered to be "fluffers" for the event, meaning it was their job to get and keep men's penises erect before they had sex with Aella. They did this through various sex acts. While Aella states the fluffers attempted to make the men promise they wouldn't orgasm with them before they got to Aella, Aella's data shows that five of them orgasmed while engaging with a fluffer.
Spread
Online, the note about the five men who "came in a fluffer" led to many jokes online, as people imagined the plight of the attendees who underwent an arduous screening process for the chance to have sex with Aella but blew their chance so close to their goal. For example, on March 1st, 2024, Twitter user @growing_daniel[3] wrote about how "embarrassing" it was, gaining over 200 retweets and 6,600 likes in four days (shown below, left). On March 2nd, user @theomnizaddy[4] quoted the You're Laughing? meme about the men, gaining over 20 retweets and 1,400 likes in three days (shown below, right).
On March 2nd, Twitter user @AnotherCohen[5] posted a parody of Aella's diagram but changed all of the terms to be about fundraising as a startup company. However, they left "came in a fluffer" in the diagram. The tweet gained over 400 retweets and 5,000 likes (shown below, left). The chart began getting reposted in business communities on social media by people who were unaware it was a parody,[6] leading to questions about the phrase "came in a fluffer." On March 4th, Twitter user @OrphicCapital[7] reported that they'd seen a mutual of theirs post the parody chart on LinkedIn without knowing the context, gaining over 1,100 retweets and 30,000 likes in one day (shown below, right).
The spread of the parody chart led to jokes about what "came in a fluffer" could mean in a business context. For example, on March 4th, Martin Shkreli joked "fluffer is the new term for investors who join a round based on another investor's work,"[8] gaining over 15 retweets and 1,800 likes in one day (shown below).
