About

Can't Even Play Minecraft In Ohio is a catchphrase used in a series of Ohio vs. the World memes in which cursed Minecraft videos and edits are shown alongside captions claiming it's the Ohio version of Minecraft, often set to the song "Smoke" by Cowbell Cult. The meme started to spread across TikTok around August 2022, also spreading on YouTube and Twitter over the following months. Many of the videos are sourced from YouTuber Not Safe, who makes bizarro Minecraft edits.

That day, TikToker[2] @dorianlucas7 reuploaded the video captioned, "POV: most normal day in Ohio," garnering over 18,000 views in the same span of time.
