ABOUT:
Colin Moriarty creeping in is a meme that uses a photoshopped cutout of Ign's senior editor and co-host of Podcast Beyond (the internet's number one Playstation podcast), Colin Moriarty and inserts him into online images, usually right in the corner.
ORIGIN:
Besides being a video game journalist, Colin appears on the youtube channel of friend/roommate/coworker Greg Miller (Youtube.com/GameOverGreggy). Colin was previously the star of his own show featured on the channel: A Conversation with Colin. Recently Greg launched the GameOverGreggyShow, which features Greg and Colin with Ign's Tim Gettys and Nick Scarpino, the producer/seducer. This meme originates from episode 26 of the show at 6:28 when Colin looks directly at the camera. Afterwards fans screen capped and edited the cutout of Moriarty himself. Afterwards, Moriarty has been inserted into numerous images.
SPREAD:
Immediately after the segment featuring Moriarty's look aired on June 2, 2014, fans created the meme, which spread on twitter.[1][2][3] (Colin is verified and has 76,200 followers and Greg is verified as well with 166,000 followers). Greg even posted a response to the creeping.[4]
