On May 18th, 2024, X^[1] user @jjjjjjjjojohohn posted an image captioned, "Why does our hostel have a giant image of what appears to be heterosexual penetration on the wall." The image showed a large framed print depicting what appears to be pink, hairy skin being pinched or vacuumed by more yellow-toned skin. The post gathered over 22 million views and 79,000 likes in two days (seen below).

The image was reportedly taken at St. Christopher's Inn, a hostel in Amsterdam.

Various internet users discussed their theories about what body part the photo print could be depicting in the days following @jjjjjjjjojohohn's post. On May 18th, 2024, X^[2] user @HTTP_Lovecraft theorized that the image shows a thumb in some dough, an idea that was shot down by X^[3] user @calebgamman. The posts gathered over 50,000 likes each.

Redditor^[5] /u/Murdocke- posted the image to the /r/confusingperspective subreddit on May 19th, claiming that the image depicts a thumb in dough as well. The post gathered over 4,000 upvotes in a day.

On May 19th, 2024, X^[4] user @emojibakemono posted a screenshot of an email response from St Christopher's Inn, the location where the original wall print was photographed. The hostel claims that much of their art is sourced from local Dutch students and that they are unsure about the image's origins (seen below).
