Demon Twink is the nickname given to a person described in a Twitter post who allegedly caused a commotion while on a Britney Spears-themed cruise in New York City, culminating in him having sex in front of the fellow members of the cruise. The thread caused the phrase "Demon Twink" to spread around Twitter as others joked about the thread and their own chaotic qualities.

Origin

On July 31st, 2021, Twitter user and DJ @tylersunderland^[1] tweeted, "There was a DEMON twink on Britney boat last night. Threw a drink at the dj equipment, wouldn’t get off the stage unless I stopped the music then the party ended and he’s some how in VIP getting his ass ate like out in the open. We had to literally tell him to stop and go home!!" The tweet gained over 710 retweets, 740 quote-tweets, and 9,800 likes (shown below).

As the tweet spread, multiple users made jokes about the situation. Troye Sivan^[2] joked, "literally so what if I got my ass ate on a boat in New York, sue me," gaining over 4,300 retweets and 80,000 likes (shown below, left). User @JMatthiasFord^[3] posted a joking headline that Ryan Murphy was hired to direct a film based on the incident, gaining over 170 retweets and 2,500 likes (shown below, right).
