Dinosaurs Blown Away by Explosion refers to a viral stock image of two Euoplocephalus dinosaurs being blown away by a shock wave of an asteroid impact that likely triggered the dinosaur extinction event. Origin

On September 26th, 2017, artist and computer animator Mark A. Garlick uploaded an image which imagined the immediate aftermath of the Chicxulub asteroid impacting with Earth in the Yucatan Peninsula approximately 66 million years ago to Getty Images[1] (image shown below). The image, titled "Shockwave"[2] or "Dinosaur Extinction," contains an artistic depiction of two Euoplocephalus dinosaurs being blown away by a massive shockwave and burning in mid-air.
