Overview
Drake Trolling Steph Curry refers to antics undertaken by rapper Drake to antagonize Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry during Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors in Toronto. This included wearing the jersey of Curry's father, who played three seasons with the Toronto Raptors, and picking a piece of lint out of Curry's hair and selling it on Ebay.
Background
Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals took place on May 30th, 2019 between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. Throughout the NBA Playoffs, Drake, a Toronto native and Raptors fan, has been an active presence at court-side, at one point in the Eastern Conference Finals rubbing the shoulders of Raptors coach Nick Nurse. The NBA asked Drake to tone down his antics and interaction with players and coaches.[1]
Developments
Despite the NBA's request, Drake resumed interacting with coaches and players during Game 1 of the Finals. It began with Drake wearing a #30 "Curry" Raptors jersey, the jersey of Steph Curry's father Dell from when he played with the Raptors.[2]
At one point during the game, Drake and Curry had a conversation at court-side, during which Drake appeared to pick something out of Curry's hair (shown below).

According to Drake, he plucked lint out of Curry's hair, and after the game, he posted to his Instagram saying he was selling the lint on Ebay under the name DraymondShouldntWear23, referring to the number of Warriors player Draymond Green wearing the same number as Michael Jordan (shown below). Bids were reported to reach over $86,000.[3]

Twitter users also began making before/after memes with two similar pictures of Drake and Curry, one from a previous game where Drake is looking at Curry in admiration and one from the Finals game where Drake is looking at Curry with disdain. Jokes about the tweets include a post about The Office by @HectorDiaz[4] that gained over 290 retweets and 1,200 likes (shown below, left) and a tweet by Bleacher Report [5]referencing Drake's Feud with Pusha T gained over 18,000 likes (shown below, right).
