About

I Just Flipped the Switch is a selfie video trend in which participants lipsync to the song "Nonstop" by recording artist and rapper Drake. Generally, participants film the video in front of a bathroom mirror, flipping a light switch when the lyric "I just flipped a switch" is uttered. As the lyric plays, the screen goes black, and when the lights return, the participant's appearance has changed for humorous effect, similar to Karma Is a Bitch and Why Do Good Girls Like Bad Guys?. These videos are usually hashtagged "#FlipTheSwitch."

Origin
