The earliest source origins of the Drog image can be traced back to a Reddit post from 2024 and a viral post on X on May 4th 2025. Both using the same Doge / Frog deepfried brainrot mashup image.

Their very essence embody's the increasing popularity of “brainrot” content, a genre of deliberately overstimulating memes built around absurd sounds and visuals.
