Eating a Burger With No Honey Mustard is a viral video in which a man asks, "Why are oranges called oranges but an apple is not called red," then repeats the phrase, "eating a burger with no honey mustard" several times. The video was originally uploaded to TikTok around December 2020 and went viral over the following years, appearing in numerous 21st-century humor and meme edits.
Origin
The earliest available upload of the "eating a burger with no honey mustard" video was posted by YouTuber[1] LMD1510 on December 24th, 2020, garnering over 192,000 views in just over two years (shown below).
The video was originally posted sometime before this by TikToker[2] @ayoodrip, but it has since been deleted. The TikToker has acknowledged the video several times in his content (example shown below).

Spread
The video gained viral spread over the following years, appearing in meme edits and becoming the subject of reactions. On January 10th, 2021, YouTuber[3] Fujitive posted a meme edit using the audio clip, garnering over 129,000 views in two years. On January 15th, YouTuber[4] Eliminate posted a video where he remixes the audio, garnering over 96,000 views in two years (shown below). On February 25th, Twitter[5] user @2morromorroland posted the clip, writing, "this is what clipping sounds like," referring to the experimental hip-hop group clipping., garnering over 1,100 likes in two years.
On September 10th, 2022, YouTuber[6] Dake posted an edit of the video adding the vine boom sound effect throughout, garnering over 1.3 million views in six months (shown below, left). On September 23rd, a Redditor posted a meme using the clip to /r/whenthe,[7] garnering over 2,300 upvotes in roughly the same span of time. On October 24th, YouTuber[8] Meme Zee uploaded an edit of the video that gained over 440,000 views in five months (shown below, right).
On January 23rd, 2023, TikToker[9] @ithisguyagaini reuploaded the original video, garnering over 3.2 million views in two months. The original sound inspired over 350 uses in the same period (popular example shown below, left). On March 21st, TikToker[10] @jynxzi.highlights posted a video of streamer Jynxzi leaving a player he just killed in-game a message consisting of the repeated phrase, garnering over 3.2 million views in a week (shown below, right).
