Edge Rizz Interlinked Test refers to a parody video of the 2017 film Blade Runner 2049 Within Cells Interlinked scene in which the dialogue lines are replaced with Rizz, Edge and many other Brain Rot slang terms. The clip became a viral sound on TikTok in early March 2024, with the most notable being the Edge Rizz Dog video, which uses the Revive App to replace the original creator with a talking dog head saying the interlinked test lines.

Origin

On February 28th, 2024, TikTok^[1] user @notmr.bigchops69 posted a video titled "Edge Gooner 42069," which is a parody of the Within Cells Interlinked memorable dialogues from the 2017 film Blade Runner 2049 in which the protagonist K undergoes a test meant to detect any emotional deviance. The dialogue lines are replaced by Brain Rot slang terms like Rizz and Edge (shown below)_, amassing more than 5 million plays and 785,000 likes in a month.

A few weeks after, on March 6th, 2024, TikTok^[2] user @dawgalawgnews posted the full "Edge Rizz Interlinked Test" using a talking dog head with the Revive App feature (shown below, left), which amassed more than 6 million plays and 1.3 million likes in a month. On March 19th, 2024, TikTok^[3] user @therealbadmann posted a short version of the same video, which garnered over 4 million plays and 781,000 likes in two weeks. (shown below, right)

On March 26th. TikTok ^[4] user @idk_.2222 posted the Edge Rizz Dog video paired with the Why You So Quiet? What's On Your Mind? meme (shown below), which amassed more than 925,000 plays and 161,000 likes in three days.
