On March 30th, 2019, Elon Musk released a rap song titled "RIP Harambe" on Soundcloud under fake label Emo G Records, presumably performed by the entrepreneur.^[1] At the same time, the entrepreneur changed his twitter handle to Jung Musk and posted a series of tweets related to the song.^[2] The song accumulated over 910,000 streams on Soundcloud in two days.

Two tweets posted by Elon Musk^[3] and musician-producer BloodPop^[4] on March 31st suggested that the song was produced by the musician and co-written by Caroline Polachek and emoji artist Yung Jake.
