The Enid Dance or Enid Dancing refers to a scene from Wednesday where Enid, Wednesday's roommate, dances in front of her. The scene went viral on TikTok and YouTube in December 2022 following the virality of the Wednesday Dance scene, inspiring stylized edits and a dance trend set to both "Boy's a Liar" by PinkPantheress and the 2022 FIFA World Cup song "Tukoh Taka" sped-up by Nicki Minaj, Maluma and Myriam Fares.

Origin

In the first episode of Wednesday, the titular character meets her roommate Enid. In one scene, Enid turns on some music and dances to it. Wednesday asks her to turn it off but she doesn't (shown below).

On December 2nd, 2022, TikToker^[1] @lufaedx posted an edit of the scene set to "Boy's a Liar" by PinkPantheress, garnering over 1.7 million views in two weeks (shown below).

On December 4th, 2022, YouTuber^[2] EmDoubleYou posted an edit of the video to "Tukoh Taka," garnering over 35 million views in two weeks (shown below). On December 6th, TikToker^[3] @hermionefpjean posted a similar edit set to the same song, garnering over 4.7 million views in 10 days. The original sound inspired over 900 uses in the same span of time, including videos of TikTokers^[4] dancing like Enid.

On December 10th, dance ensemble XO Team posted a video to their TikTok^[5] page @xoteam recreating the scene, garnering over 37 million views in six days (shown below, left). On December 12th, TikToker^[6] @homm9k posted a video doing a version of the dance, garnering over 12 million views in four days (shown below, right).
