Overview
IZIDORE's Chinese Water Torture Livestream refers to a viral Twitch livestream in mid-April 2025 in which American streamer IZIDORE allowed his audience to remotely "Chinese water torture" him through donations. The 16-hour torture subathon stream consisted of each audience donation dropping varying levels of water on his face. Clips of the extreme livestream went viral on Twitter / X, leading to widespread discussions and memes across social media platforms.

For instance, on April 14th, 2025, X[3] user @ApolloZens posted a screenshot of the "DumDummies" episode, writing, "Wasn’t this the first episode of the new Black Mirror?" The post (seen below) amassed over 85,000 views and 1,800 likes in a day.

On the same day, X[4] user @CheezyVert posted a still image from the Detroit: Become Human videogame, adding the caption "Bro 10 hours into the stream." The post (seen below) received more than 51,000 views and 1,400 likes in a day.
