Legends Never Die is a commonly used slogan of fans of the series, Megaman Legends referring to their efforts to bring Megaman back from the grave. A year ago, Capcom announced the long awaited 3rd entry to the Megaman Legends series to many fans joy. Capcom even created a special page on their website, Capcom-Unity.com, called the Devroom, a place where fans could offer various input and ideas to help the dev team with in game content as well as observe the process in which a game is created. It was a truly ambitious project, bringing fan/developer interactions to a place it had never gone before. However, on July 19th, Capcom suddenly cancelled the project, even canceling the Prototype version, a game that was to be released on the 3DS eShop to gauge interest in the full game. Naturally, fans all over the world were shocked and angered at this betrayal of their trust, especially after Capcom had promised so much to them. Outrage ensued all across the internet, be it fan-sites, articles, groups, etc. many people felt the sting of Capcom's decisions, including once again excluding Megaman from the new version of Marvel vs Capcom 3. As a result, thousands of fans have begun the fight to save Megaman Legends from an unjust fate. Sites such as http://www.themmnetwork.com/ and the Facebook group: 100K Strong for Bringing Back Megaman Legends 3 are doing everything they can to convince Capcom to bring MML3 back into production. Through the fans' determination, this game may very well see the light of day. Legends never die!
