Gem and Coal are slang terms used primarily on Soyjak.party to appraise quality of posts, with "gem" meaning good, and "coal" meaning bad. First used on now-defunct 4chan's /qa/ board, the slang terms inspired thematic Soyjaks, and are also used by the members of Soyjak community on Twitter and other sites.
