Give Me One More Day refers to a viral video and motivational speech said by TikToker @chltwn32 in which he urges struggling viewers to not give up and "to give him one more day," reiterating that he's not asking for a week, a month or an entire year, but just for a single day. Originally posted in August 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the video has since been used as an exploitable in hopecore montages and as a component of various memes.

Origin

On August 25th, 2021, TikToker[1] chltwn32 posted a motivational video for those experiencing struggle. In the video, chltwn32 asks viewers going through their struggles not to give up and to "give him one more day." The upload garnered over 84,500 likes in five years.

What I will ask you though is, "Can you give me one more day?" I'm not asking you for a week, I'm not asking you for a week, I'm not asking you for a year. Can you give me one more day?

In 2022 and 2023, clips from the video were reposted multiple times on TikTok and Instagram. For example, on September 15th, 2022, TikTok[2] account @teen_motivation reposted an 18-second clip from the video that gained over 5,300 likes in three years (shown below).

On March 2nd, 2023, TikTok[3] user @motiprod made a repost that garnered over 726,000 likes in two years.

On March 3rd, 2023, TikTok[4] user @trulyswt posted the earliest found meme using the clip, a Sections of a Joint meme that received over 6.6 million views and 1.2 million likes in two years (shown below).

In the following months, the clip achieved viral popularity on the app, being used as part of memes and hopecore edits. For example, on May 20th, 2023, TikTok[5] user @fovefi posted a meme that garnered over 1.3 million views and 220,000 likes in two years (shown below).

In April and May 2025, the video regained popularity as part of the Me 24 Hours Before Exam meme format.

For example, on April 24th, 2025, TikTok[6] user @geen.naam.nodiggxx posted a meme that received over 2.9 million likes in one month (shown below).
