About

"Goo Goo Gaga I Want Milk" is a line of dialogue spoken by Jordan Peele playing "Baby Forest Whittaker" in a 2012 sketch from Comedy Central's Key and Peele. The scene, depicting Peele with a baby's body standing in a dark doorway and speaking the line as if out of breath, was the subject of video edits in 2020, with users often taking the clip of Peele and placing it in new situations as an exploitable.

Origin

On March 20th, 2012, the season finale of the comedy sketch show Key and Peele, titled "Landlord," aired on Comedy Central.[1] In the final sketch, Peele plays actor Forest Whittaker as a baby, an effect pulled off by imposing Peele's head over a child's body. The sketch portrays baby Forest as a strange, creepy and ultimately demanding baby who manipulates his babysitter, played by Keegan-Michael Key (shown below).

At timestamp 0:38, baby Forest Whittaker introduces himself to the babysitter by walking into a dark doorway and saying in an adult, out-of-breath voice, "Goo goo gaga, I want … I want milk." The isolated clip was uploaded to YouTube[2] by sinkhole.mp3 on August 18th, 2020, garnering over 80,000 views in nine months (shown below).
