On September 2nd, 2024, the @Dexerto X^[1] page posted, "A 12-year-old boy has been hospitalized attempting the dangerous TikTok trend, Chroming," garnering over 10,000 likes in two days.

Later that day, X^[2] user @The_Pequod_ posted an image of the Last FM logo next to the TikTok logo, writing, "A 15-year-old boy has been hospitalized after attempting the dangerous TikTok trend, Scrobbling," garnering over 25,000 likes in two days.

"Scrobbling" is a reference to how Last FM recommends music to its users. The post is meant to parody the prior Dexerto post and similar posts about allegedly dangerous TikTok trends that occasionally appear in the news.
