How's My Form? refers to a series of TikTok videos in which a TikToker attempts to lure a certain demographic with a stereotypical comment and then displays a deep-fried image of themself doing a stereotypical action of that demographic and asks "How's my form?" The videos, which became popular in April 2020, typically use the song “Yoga” by American rapper 645AR. That month individual uses of the meme were criticized on Twitter for being racist.

Origin

On April 14th, 2020, TikTok Carter Ricket uploaded the earliest known "How's My Form?" meme which garnered over 423,900 likes in a week (shown below). The video is captioned "Best s3x position for guys with 9-12inchers" then "okay, now that all the black guys are here can you help me with my waves?"

On April 14th, TikTokr jayboogers posted a variation geared toward "white guys" (shown below, left). The video garnered over 186,300 likes in a week. The next day, TikToker nyqueef attempted to lure Hispanics in his video which received over 667,600 likes in six days (shown below, center). On April 18th, David Dobrik dueted a variation geared toward catching his attention (shown below, right). The duet garnered over 6.2 million likes in four days (shown below, right).

On April 19th, Twitter user @Manal_nala reposted a racist variation gear toward black people (shown below). The tweet, captioned "Y’all do the same with this girl. Let’s find her school" garnered over 60,600 likes and 16,100 retweets in three days.

That same day, Twitter user @Manal_nala posted an update on the girl saying, "This is her apology. Now for anyone offended you are not obligated to accept her apology and non black people you don’t accept this apology for us. I will not voice my option on her apology." In the video, her father is there making her apologize (shown below). The tweet received over 22,700 likes and 4,200 retweets in three days. The Daily Dot[1] published an article on the meme.
