I Can't Pay Electric Bill, also known as I'm Gonna Talk To The Power, refers to a video of YouTuber Twomad singing "I can't pay electric bill" into a microphone before a sudden explosion ends the video. The clip was uploaded by Twomad and parodied in remixes on YouTube.

Origin

On November 24th, 2019, Twomad uploaded, "My lifes biggest bruh moments #11," a compilation of short Twomad videos and sketches, gaining over 1.1 million views. The "I can't pay electric bill" clip appears at :17 in the video (shown below).

Spread

In the following months, the clip was reposted to YouTube by users EddJK47 (shown below, left) and IAmBurn (shown below, right). The video was reposted to Reddit's /r/killedthecameraman^[1] on January 25th, 2020, gaining over 5,600 points.

On July 14th, 2020, YouTuber W4vyboy posted a compilation of meme remixes of the original video, gaining over 10,000 views (shown below).
