This meme is most common now on the Melbourne DarkRP Server. It is used as a joke about building unauthorised structures in the gamemode on Garry's Mod.

Origin

A group of Australian DarkRP players began building a base on the server called Melbourne DarkRP server in the middle of a forest with props that were not allowed to be spawned in unless used at a pre-built house. These players were known as Starzie, Arsenic_iMyst, 180 and mysticFlax who all also created the Cartel subculture on the aforementioned server (which included taking over half the map). After building a large structure in-game and being caught by an admin they were asked why they had spawned props not near or in an owned house. To respond they simply said, "I got it from my base!".
