The choice of including Venom in the image is to showcase how the whole concept of the meme is supposed to be a rival to the "I Love Lean" meme, which is has also been widely recognized lately with Carnage

Description

The first image showcases a blue edited shot of Venom screaming with two blue colored juices and the text "I HATE LEAN – DRIPPY JUICE IS BETTER 🥶". The shot is taken from the final battle of the movie "Venom (2018)", which has later been edited to the current appearance of the meme, hence the blue filter effect. The gif is also taken from the same scene, which has been edited to fit the blue aesthetic and has been added the text "I HATE LEAN!!!". The link to the scene can be found below

What is Lean anyways

Wikipedia states that "Lean, also known as purple drank, purp, or oil, and several other names, is a recreational drug beverage, prepared by mixing prescribed cough or cold syrup with a soft drink. The beverage originated in Houston, Texas, and is popular among the hip hop culture or those who reside in the southern United States."

Creation Reason

The original aim for this meme is very likely to make an arch nemesis for the popular "I love lean" meme, which has been spread widely all over the internet with multiple characters and purple themed images, and spread awareness about the danger of lean and drugs in general. Examples can be seen below

On February 20th 2022, user @modywithanice retweeted the same images tweeted by @lean_hater (https://mobile.twitter.com/lean_hater), who states on their bio that they are in fact the same person. The bio also states why the meme has been created in the first place; it says "Say no to lean. It's bad for your health and it's not cool"
