Drake's Hot Sauce refers to an unconfirmed allegation that rapper Drake pours hot sauce into his used condoms to prevent his sperm from being used for impregnation. The allegation spread online in early 2022 due to a rumor that an Instagram model filed a lawsuit against Drake after trying to impregnate herself with sperm from his used condom and ending up burning her genitalia. The rumor subsequently inspired viral social media reactions and memes referencing Drake's supposed "birth control" method in the following days.

On January 9th, 2022, gossip and rumors Instagram[1] account toomuchhottea posted a rumor about an Instagram model who allegedly had sex with Drake and attempted to sneakily use sperm from his condom to impregnate herself. According to the rumor, the model "felt like pouring hot lava into her p*ssy," with Drake then supposedly admitting that he had poured hot sauce into the condom to kill the sperm. The model then allegedly filed a lawsuit against the rapper. The post (shown below) gained over 14,200 likes in five days.

On January 10th, 2022, Twitter[2] user @6ixroses_ posted a screenshot of the Instagram post, praising Drake on his ingenuity, with the tweet gaining over 16,800 retweets and 93,400 likes in four days and the story proceeding to go viral on social media.
Starting on January 10th, users on social media, primarily on Twitter, posted memes referencing the rumor. For example, on that day, Twitter[3] user @DeezyTaught_U posted an image of a man with a bottle of hot sauce attached to his belt, captioning it, "This how Drake walkin around with the hot sauce." The post gained over 4,100 retweets and 25,100 likes in four days (shown below, left). On January 11th, Twitter[4] user @northeastpapi made a Drakeposting meme referencing the rumor that received over 25,800 retweets and 180,800 likes in three days (shown below, right).
The rumor remained a prominent subject of humorous references in the following days. Additionally, a number of media outlets reported on the story, including articles by Rap-Up,[5] Yahoo[6] and BroBible.[7]
On January 11th, 2022, Drake made an Instagram[8] post in which he seemingly responded to the rumor, writing, "You can have your 15 minutes of fame…I’ll take the other 23 hours and 45 mins."
