About

I Love to Get in Sparkly Dresses is a memorable quote from a scene in the American TV show Toddlers & Tiaras in which a 3-year-old girl says that she loves "sparkly dresses" and smiles. In 2013, the scene appeared in a popular Vine and has since gained popularity in video remixes.

Origin

On August 15th, 2012, an episode of the American TV show Toddlers and Tiaras titled "Universal Royalty Motown" featuring a 3-year-old participant named Chloe aired on TLC cable network. On August 22nd, the TLC YouTube channel uploaded a short segment from the episode.

On July 27, 2013, Vine user Keagan Walz[1] uploaded his reaction to the scene in which Chloe smiles and lets out an excited cry. The clip gained more than 8,1 million loops and 256,400 revines over a 5-year period.

Spread

On November 22nd, 2013, YouTuber Brodiguezson ! uploaded his reaction to the video, gaining over 58,000 views within 5 years.

In 2018, video edits exploiting the scene gained popularity. On January 30th, 2018, Instagram user rogue.titty[2] reuploaded a remix originally posted by a now-deleted account aqzuk. In the edit, Chloe's laugh had been replaced with a zombie wail soundbite from Call of Duty Zombie mode. The post gained over 15,700 views over an 11-month period.

On November 19th, 2018, YouTuber Sadie ann reuploaded an edit of the scene in which Chloe's laughter had been replaced with a high-pitched tone. Additionally, Chloe's mouth had been edited to cover her entire face, presumably using a Snapchat filter. The reupload gained over 86,300 views within the following month.

The remix inspired other Big Mouth Screech edits in which the soundbite and the filter were used. For example, on December 6th, 2018, YouTuber Sadie ann reuploaded a similar edit of musician and former Vine star Gabbie Hanna singing a line from her song "Monster".
