About

I Need A Monster To Clobber That There Kirby is a line associated with King Dedede from the English dub of the anime Hoshi no Kaabii, also known as Kirby: Right Back At Ya!
Voiced by Ted Lewis, King Dedede's delivery of the line "I need a monster to clobber that there Kirby" in a heavy Texan accent was uttered in the theme song for the show, inspiring memes and remixes on YouTube in the 2010s.

Origin

Hoshi no Kaabii first aired in Japan in 2001. It was licensed by 4kids Entertainment and first aired in America on September 1, 2002.[1] In the version of the theme song used in the dub, the antagonist King Dedede calls the Nightmare Enterprises Salesman, saying, "I need a monster to clobber that there Kirby" in a heavy southern accent.
