About
"I Remember When I Lost My Mind" Riff Challenge is a TikTok challenge where participants sing along to the opening lines of "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley, attempting to hit a high note on the word "mind." The challenge was inspired by a video posted in November 2022 where a woman hits the high note and is shocked that she could, resulting in both serious attempts to do the same and ironic videos in which users recreate the video with purposefully bad singing and a failed attempt at hitting the high note.
Origin
On November 2nd, 2022, TikToker[1] @nataliejanesings posted a video where she and another woman sing along to "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley in a parking garage.
