About
Jack the Time Traveller is an exploitable webcomic in which a son travels back in time to when his parent's conceived him and says a variety of humorous things accidentally thwarting his conception.
Origin
On February 17th, 2013, Deathbulge[1] released a comic titled "Jack the Time Traveller," in which a boy teleports into his parent's bedroom and asks "About to have sex are we??" before he begins to disappear (shown below).
Spread
On December 4th, 2013, Redditor Dxkingxd submitted an exploitable template of the comic along with a collection of edited variations taken from a thread on 4chan's /b/ board (shown below). Prior to being archived, the post gathered upwards of 590 points (89% upvoted) and 30 comments on /r/4chan.[3]
On July 21st, 2015, Redditor toutoune134 submitted an edit of the comic to /r/LeDootGeneration,[4] featuring the custom speech bubble text "Really small text to make you zoom in to this image and get spooked" (shown below, left). On October 31st, 2017, Redditor salty904 submitted an Overwatch-themed variation of the comic to /r/MemeEconomy (shown below, right).[2]
